Our Team

For over 40 years, he has worked alongside his family to grow the business to 12 locations and over 3,000 employees, while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Under his father’s tutelage, Tom learned how to lead a dynamic organization first-hand. He worked in various roles throughout the company before heading up the meat department for 25 years. Tom became President and CEO in 2018.

Tom has been a member of ShopRite’s Board of Directors since 2017 and has previously served on the Diocese of Bridgeport Catholic Board of Education advisory board. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boston College.

Following a decade in the restaurant industry, Joe brought his love of food and customer service to the family business. For the last 40 years, he has modernized and expanded his departments as customer needs have evolved.

Joe is an active member of the Greenwich, Stamford, and Fairfield Chambers of Commerce. Additionally, he is a member and served as Past President of the State Street Debating Society. He holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality from SUNY, Delhi.

Dominick’s passion for going green extends beyond his family stores. He was instrumental in working with supermarket retailers, grassroots organizations, and legislators in passing bills that phased out plastic bags, and modernized bottle and recycling capabilities across Connecticut. 

Dominick serves on the Boards of Directors for Kids Helping Kids, and the Connecticut Food Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree in food marketing from Saint Joseph’s University

That latest drive led him to oversee the development and execution of the new “Grade Above” brand, available at Cingari Family ShopRite.

Tom currently sits on the Board of Directors and serves as Vice President of Fundraising for the Kabuki Syndrome Foundation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Bryant University.

John started his career working in sales and marketing in the consumer packaged goods industry. He has worked at Cingari Family ShopRite across several roles, and in 2019, he officially joined the leadership team.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in Food Marketing and is pursuing an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University.

In 1988, he returned to Connecticut to open a restaurant and premiere catering company, David’s Soundview Catering.

David serves on the Foundation Board at Stamford Hospital and the Executive Committee and Board at the Stamford Chamber of Commerce.
